This model has been first pretrained on the BEIR corpus and fine-tuned on MS MARCO dataset following the approach described in the paper **COCO-DR: Combating Distribution Shifts in Zero-Shot Dense Retrieval with Contrastive and Distributionally Robust Learning**.
