# SL Girls - Realistic Sri Lankan Girls Faces

## Model description 

One thing that always bugged me with AI was trying to create Sri Lankan faces. Every time I tried, I’d get results that looked Indian or Pakistani—not us. It felt like we were invisible, like AI didn’t know we existed.

So, I decided to do something about it. I spent time creating a custom LoRA—one that actually understands what a Sri Lankan face looks like. The warm brown skin tones, the sharp but soft features, the kind of smiles you’d recognize anywhere. Now, when I generate faces, I see us. Real Sri Lankan girls who look like they could be your sister, your friend, or someone you’d pass on the street.

It’s not perfect yet, but it’s ours. And that feels pretty special.
