made a new model
can anyone please benchmark it?

Lap1official/Xylaria-1.8

This model is intended for research purposes only. It should not be used for any malicious, harmful, or unethical activities.

First about those ethical considerations. It really makes no sense because you are publishing it under Apache license and it is a free software license, which means everybody is free to use it for whatever reasons they want. It's not up to you to kind of restrict or restrain the user and also you have no absolutely no possibility to know what users are doing, especially if they are doing it for some malicious, harmful or unethical activities.

Of course it is all right to kind of tell to users about that, but you see it is very subjective what means malicious, harmful or unethical because you are publishing it to the world. There are many countries, many laws, and I don't see that there is any need to mention this when you are already publishing it under the Apache free software license.

Technically, is this a model which you created or is it derived model from some other?

How did you come to create it? How did you train it? Do you have some explanations, some notices, scientific studies?

Can you create a GGUF file that I try it out without downloading 120 GB?

Thank you for your feedback, JLouisBiz. You raise valid points about the Apache 2.0 license. The ethical considerations section is intended as a strong recommendation, and we appreciate you highlighting the distinction.
Regarding the model's origins, Xylaria-1.8 is a research model that has undergone significant modifications. It is intended for research exploring model architectures and behaviors. At this time, we are not providing detailed training information or scientific studies, as the focus is on the model itself as a research artifact. We may release more details in the future as appropriate for the research goals.
Regarding the GGUF request, that's something we can consider for future releases, thank you for suggestion.
