and defense sectors to build infrastructures in a Hybrif world create digital services, boost data-driver decision making with AI

## R&D Activities
The competitive advantages of Space Hellas heavily depend on its scientific and technological excellence. The Research and
Development (R&D) department focuses on promoting this excellence, by analyzing the latest technological developments and
focusing on the technologies with the stronger exploitation potential in the mid- and long-term. Space Hellas is very active 
and it has a sucessfull track record in European research ((EDF, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, ESA)) with 26 active R&D projetcs. 
Among others Space Hellas is participating in 6 EDIDP and EDF projects, all of them focused on information security, and has 
coordinated the EDIDP PANDORA and EDF AInception cyberdefence projects.  By participating in European  and National R&D projects, 
as well as internal projects, the company adopts and develops cutting-edge technologies, productsand  services, while at the same 
time expanding its partner network. 

The activities of the R&D Department particularly focus on the following areas:

- Cybersecurity and Cyberdefense
- Open-source Intelligence (OSINT) and AI
- Future networks, 5G/6G and  satellite communications
- Cloud Computing and Data Technologies
- Quantum Technologies and Security
