Nesta is [the UK's innovation agency for social good](https://www.nesta.org.uk/). It **designs, tests and scales** new solutions to society’s biggest problems, changing millions of lives for the better.

Nesta's Data Science practice is a group of data scientists, data engineers and data visualists. We use **data science methods and analyses** to help solve our three missions: 

1. **A fairer start:** narrowing the outcome gap between children growing up in disadvantage and the national average;
2. **A healthy life:** increasing the average number of healthy years lived in the UK, while narrowing health inequalities and;
3. **A sustainable future:** Accelerate the decarbonisation of household activities in the UK and improve levels of productivity.
