Women School of Entrepreneurship(WSE) is a section 8, non profit company registered as Womenia Chakra Foundation, which aims to create,leverage and nurture the last mile girls and women entrepreneurial leadership talent in India’s social,entrepreneurial, and startups sector by educating them about entrepreneurship. It provides training and skilling to girls under Kanyapreneurship program and to women under Herpreneurship and Didipreneurship program.

WE Hub

Vocational Training Programme for Women
Women’s Vocational Training Programme (WVTP) was designed and launched in 1977 to mainstream women into economic activities. This project on women’s vocational training was formulated with the assistance of Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) in March, 1977. Under this project, vocational trades were identified that were particularly suitable for women and their implementation planned.

Vocational Training and Self-Employment Scheme
Under this scheme, 22 disciplines of Vocational Training are approved by the Department of Youth Services & Sports. Training in a few selective disciplines out of the 22 approved disciplines are provided by the different Youth Vocational Training Centres to students and youth.

Vishwakarma Shram Samaj Yojana
Under Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2021, the state government promotes the development and self-employment of the laborers of the state. The government will also provide 6 days of free training to traditional artisans and laborers. The aim is to eliminate the increasing unemployment in the state and to give financial help to the people. - -This scheme shall provide employment to 15,000 people in the state every year. Under the scheme, financial assistance ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 10 lakh will also be given to carpenters, tailors, basket weavers, barbers, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, potters, confectioners, cobblers, etc. - -To take advantage of this scheme, the applicant will have to apply online.
