I aim to protect the carbonyl group located on the six-membered ring while selectively ONLY oxidizing the carbonyl group in the five-membered ring within the molecule CC1(C)C2C(CC(C(C3C)C4=O)(CC4)C2CC3=O)(C)CC1. How can I achieve this?
