Running Florence on M1 Mac

Has anybody tried installing Florence on an M1 Mac? I tried the example code, but it wants a CUDA directory. I can give it the CUDA directory, of course, but if it is assuming that I have an NVIDIA graphics card installed, it is going to be very disappointed...
