XTC and DRY?

Hi,
Any recommended XTC and DRY settings? Does XTC hampers this model?
So far I only used dry with pretty moderate settings, It CAN happen that with growing context DRY makes the model more stupid, like missing spaces after using {{user}}'s name like this: "mike'shand" instead of "mike's hand". I have not tried XTC so far.
