I didn't expect this tool to be so accurate. I took posts I had written, and essays by others that I knew were not AI and were also not publicly available, and compared them to a series of ChatGPT generated material. In the test, I tried to vary the AI output by specifying different voices, styles, and reading-levels for the output. The openai-detector nailed it, it wasn't even close. What I found particularly interesting was the tool's ability to detect re-writes of original material. Well done!
