Dear Hugging Face Team,
We are the OpenDataLab team, dedicated to the collection, organization, and sharing of open data. We are currently developing MinerU 2.0, a tool designed for document information extraction. It supports structured parsing and content extraction from PDFs, scanned documents, and forms—aiming to provide high-quality, reliable foundational data for AI training.
We would like to apply for a free GPU to support our work, for the following reasons:

Open-Source Contribution: MinerU 2.0 will be fully open-sourced and released on the Hugging Face platform. We hope to leverage Hugging Face’s Hub and Spaces to offer developers and researchers an easy-to-use, plug-and-play demo experience.

GPU-Dependent Architecture: MinerU 2.0 is an end-to-end pipeline powered by large models that require GPU acceleration. It cannot function properly in a CPU-only environment.

Lowering the Barrier to Use: By providing an online demo through Hugging Face Spaces, users can try our model directly without local deployment, helping us promote open-source adoption and community engagement.

Community Benefit: We plan to update our document extraction models and datasets regularly on Hugging Face. We are already collaborating with several universities and research institutions and hope to use the GPU resources for fine-tuning experiments that will be contributed back to the open-source community.

We sincerely hope to receive GPU support from Hugging Face to provide a smoother online experience for users and contribute more to the community. Thank you for your continuous support of open-source projects!

Hi @SunYuefeng , we have assigned a gpu to this space. Note that GPU Grants are provided temporarily and might be removed after some time if the usage is very low.
